It remains incomprehensible that most Dutch people skip this area towards the South. Haute Normandie is a beautiful area, rich in history and has a nicely varied landscape with forests on the hills and valleys. In the forests of the Foret d'Eawy you can encounter deer and wild boar. Along the rivers many beautiful small villages, surrounded by rolling farmland with cereals and pastures, which are populated by the Norman cows. You know, those cows that all know that the weather is often in Normandy and therefore wear sunglasses. Their milk is the basis for delicious Neufchatel cheese. You'll also find many producers of honey and other local products, which we of course not forget the cider and calvados. The flourishing Apple blossom in the spring is a feast for the eyes.
